Life is not Measured by the Breaths We Take, but the Moments that Take our Breath Away
This quote is one that I love to repeat in my head, because it brings me back to what truly matters in life and allows me to reflect on my goals. As a senior my head is a layered stack of blueberry pancakes because of college applications, financial aid deadlines, and now applying for scholarships, which is the fluff of whip cream on top of my pancakes.
It’s that time of the year, when we share a slice of our love with our precious beings. The day we wear our pink and red wardrobe and transform into a princess. We take the time to enjoy quality time at dinner, or a movie with our loved ones and give thanks to have them be part of our life. This day is of course Valentine’s day!
Have you ever finished a workout and wondered what could supplement your body with a healthy snack? I know that when I’m done with practice my tummy is ready to munch and crunch on anything, even chips. However, I acknowledge that eating fats after a long run will only result in me feeling terrible the next day. I also recognize that my body needs a lot of natural vitamins, greens, carbohydrates, and tons of protein.

Sit back, relax, and breath because finals week has finally come to an end. No more drinking icy lattes at night, memorizing twenty formulas for math, re-reading notes front and back, or cramming down for projects. As we enjoy a three day weekend we can sleep in and contemplate on new adventures with family and friends…
Creativity is a trait that each and everyone of us have within us. It’s just the matter how you think beyond others, that makes you stand out among the rest of the people. You need to want to be different and unique to think outside the box. It takes time, but it’s not impossible. It can bring you great joy, especially when you think creatively for those around you during a group project.
We are complex human creatures that seek enjoyment and success for the benefit of ourselves, but most importantly those with which we surround ourselves.
Ring!! The time has come for three days of extreme concentration, stress, and memorization. On these days everyone wears comfy clothes and bring their triple coffee latte to help them stay up. Mornings are full of protein packed breakfasts like cheesy eggs with a crunchy buttery toast, and a blueberry muffin and nights are full of late night readings and sips on dark coffee.
